Environmental Broadcast Circle

Background

The Environmental Broadcast Circle (EBC) is a network of media practitioners and educators committed to providing the public with research, information, communication and education (RICE) on the environment and sustainable development through its various programs and activities. EBC serves as a clearing house for channeling information between sectors and communities and the participating broadcast practitioners. Activities are coordinated by a secretariat headed by an Executive Director. The organization was formed in early 1995 by advocates from various NGO’s working for the environment and sustainable development.
